Inspired by the project LCS of General Dynamics... I created this model in amapi 5 ...no postwork except resizing and framed in Photoshop. Thank you for viewing and comments

This is quite good. The overall naval "feel" - greys, blues, slate, clouds, it's all well thought out. The waves are pretty darn good - it certainly feels like a heavy ship moving through the water. If you chose to do postwork I might suggest give the birds a little feather detail and "roughen" up the ship's skin as it's very smooth. It might be that or the specularity that hints at plastic a little... as opposed to metal. A few details on the ships would be interesting too. But - these are nitpicky... this is a very good piece. Well done. And good for you keeping the seafaring style alive.

I like the overall feel of this pic. The atmosphere is right as is the wieght of the ships. The only thing I can criticize is the brown/tan color. That has no place in the ocean as it causes it to stick out rather than blend in but the other greys you have work well.
