It was time for another remake. And what better picture to do a remake of, is one you already won a prize with? :-) So, this time I did a remake of Turkey Power: The Wake. A picture that once started quite simple as a test of my Wacom Tablet, trying to draw a Turkey with it for a ThanksGiving challenge in the Jasc's PaintShopPro Forums here on R'osity. Later on I used that turkey in a larger image by cloning it and placing it so that it looked like tons of turkeys were lined up in a protestmarch, or more of a wake for their brother turkeys who died as food for us humans during thanksgiving. Added flames and lighting effects for the December theme (Days of Enlightment) of 2001 in the 2D Forum here on R'osity. Back in 2002 I entered a local artcontest and had to choose an image to submit. Well, it was Turkey Power: The Wake, but I am not yet quite pleased with it as it was, so I did a remake of it, making it more firish and such, and the result was good for a Third place on the 26th of May 2002 in the Provincial final of the Dutch Kunstbende Artwork contest. And now I started optimizing them and using some more newly learned tricks and effects using PSP9.0.0 beta. Also changed the resolution to 1024x768 so it can be used as a wallpaper.
