I have to say this is very different and an interesting use of texture. Quite original, Works for me =)

I agree! Two suggestions, if I may: The lighting fades off to fast, this makes the letters to the right hard to read. More shadows, or more even shadowing might've been nicer, along with shadows on the ground. The other suggestion, PLANT the trees. Several have their roots showing. Other than that, Not bad at all!
