Description
This is the second version of Sybil. Hope I will get some positive and creative comments this time. I think that this picture is a closer representation of a feeling that I want to share with you.
The story behind that picture is more than a scifi theme. I knew a girl and we were very much in love. At that time, we didn't have much money, but that was ok for a while. But...
She began to work more and more at the restaurant, fullfilling the needs of the clients. Ignoring the pain in her neck, back and feet. More money at the expense of her health. Turning gradually more a machine than a human every day. Until we broke up.
Anyway, that a long story, but I think that you can share and feel through that picture my vision of her now. Even if this picture look dramatic, some of the blood is still red. Some have already turned almost black (Oil?). So, there's still hope in the air.
But, does the bleeding show some humanity taking over, or a machine flushing life through steel cracks? You decide.

Excellent, Inviso! I guess I can relate to your ex's story a bit - in my own way of course. It sometimes seems I work myself like that, for a paycheck -- and someone else reaps the benefits of my efforts. Well, that just about fits the description of a 9-5 that suddenly takes up more than 8 hours a day of your life.. But that's my story. The colors and composition makes the figure look like she's laying on a heap of disgarded equipment after being used up.

I think this is even more stunning than its predecessor. The space really pulls the viewer into the image. I love the way the starkness of the cold metal with its wires and connections meets the sensual pose of the female form. It shows the angst of each side, the living and the machine, trying to capture the soul.

Thank you all! I'm very happy with your great positive comments!

This is a disturbing image, more for what it implies than what is shown. I dig this type of science fiction image. Sort of "Alien" meets "Fight Club" in its visceral nature. Great job.
