Description
I found it amazing when I was there taking this photo at how much alike bleached wood is to bleached bone. The skeletal system of this tree, minus its barkskin is all that remains of its pride. The pride it held as it gave solace to other living creatures, as it beheld the world and gained wisdom for survival, until it met up with Death. Here, too, is our own story and I only hope that my final resting spot is as peaceful as the one found by my brother, the tree.

Even before I read your words I was brought to the thought of bones intwined. The pure white bleached by the sun. Death had found him, but peace he still gives to others.
