I like the colors in the water and the clouds very much, nicely done! I think the terrain could use some more variation, try add more layers. go bug your mom jotham
hillrunner
Good pic for a second render, you have a lot to learn, so the best way is to look at many galleries and many artists, and get your own tips !
stbc
Agree with hillrunner. Also, in the Forum for Terragen is a primer with some great tips, initiated by Rich2, whose work you should definately check out. :)

You have a nice sense of colour. Practice with layers for the surface work will give you more definition. Will watch for another.
dirgemedia

foxoto
i only have a demo version which dosent support layers. I was thinking about adding some leaping dolphins, what do you think?

Oh, by the way...dirgemedia is'nt an artist...check out dirgemedia 's gallery (none)...home page (none)...just a prick who has no life!

The unregistered version supports surface layers...just play around a bit, you will see...agree with hill and stbc...check out a few tutorials and keep it up!

Interesting water and colours - yes, the unreg version does not have limited layers - check out the tut on surface layers here: http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/smgdl.shtml

When you do unto others what was done unto you remember...you make enemys who will slam you for no reason~this goes to both dirgemedia and foxoto since you did this to someone else for no reason as well. The only problem you have here is that if this is land there should be no snow beneath the waterline and if its ice, shouldn't look like its covered with snow. You'll get it...keep at it but you should know that the full version of Terragen is free to my recollection so no reason to be using the demo.
