G' Day 8 )
This is the start of a character test. My Lightwave mate, Patrick and I, are writing a short animation. This is to be one of the main characters.
Still in the very early stages. No bump mapping as yet and the texture was just thrown on for the test. Modelled with LW8 and a splash of Sas.
Any comments are always welcome!

ThanX, Khalil_Rose 8 ) Sorry that I did not reply earlier. I have been off skiing. Excellent tutorials are in the latest 'Inside LW8'. The book details how to work from sketches. How long to Master? I dont think anyone masters LW. There is always something to learn. I have been using LW for 13 years now. I am not a good example of 13 years of practice. You can reach my level in no time. I have a friend ( Patrick ) who has reach my level ( Perhaps better ) in less than a year. Render times vary. The ' Old Fella ' took about 2 - 3 mins per frame on a P4 3GHZ with 2GB Ram.
