BIO
Started in 1981 with graphical simulation of industrial robots - part of my studies of math in Stuttgart (Germany). Then, by accident, 1984 Bavaria Film asked me to do computer animations for Enemy Mine (director Wolfgang Peterson, produced in Munich, Germany). That was my start into the more creative part of the business. From there on til 1991 i worked as an animation designer with several sorts of software (BTS FGS 4000, TDI, ...). We did commercial animations but tought students (from the Stuttgart Academy of Art) as well (half-half). After that i had the opportunity to make a move into event and "classical" design business. And there I still am - doing mostly print design in a little agency I am running with some friends. I kept always an eye on the 3D business, but only with the appearance of Vue d'Esprit on Mac i found a sort of way back into 3D graphics. This software for me is the ideal combination of easy-to-use and quality results so it was great fun to work with from the first moment on. Let's see where this all will drift to - who knows. Wow, Walther! Great to see you rendering; very cool pov, and love the water coming off the duck feet! I can hear them quacking, lol; excellent image!

Great job Walther. The splashes, the close up pov and the excellent lighting work very well indeed. A fine render. Like the added touch of the v shaped group heading somewhere!

Outstanding image Walther! The geese are coming my way to spend some time in my climate. I really like this., spend more time on holidays so we can get a few more!:-))

Fantastic, you got the weather outside (oops I have to turn off the computer)! looks closely It seems to me not only the ducks started to fly but some reeds too(?)

What a fabulous POV! I feel like I must duck before they hit me in the head. This would make a good animation. Excellent water and veggies. Please do some more while you have the time!

Great to see you work again! Cool scene, like the overcast sky, very topical! Well done! It does seem like the reeds on the right are a bit 'airborne', though.

Excellent work wabe , love the ducks , very well done:-)

Saw the little reed problem - of course too late. I will render the new version over night and then exchange the image. Sorry for that, but the fight was hard enough so this was not in my focus long enough.

lovely one Walther. I like this very much and would love to see it rendered in superior or ultra. The pov is excellent but you might try a bit of haze in the atmosphere to suggest distance between the land beyond and the closer ducks. Hope hunting season isn't opened yet!
