Description
All modelled and rendered in Bryce. Postwork in Photoshop. Originally rendered 2500x1315, I didn't AA this one because it was muffling the contrast in the water. I initially had a little boat with a red sail there but I felt like it was not helping the overall image. The little sparkles in the water were made with a Photoshop brush I was experimenting with.
Thanks for looking. I hope you like it but if you don't, please leave some kind suggestions. :-)

Wow! Stunning POV and I love the reflection on the water! This is fantastic! I think the boat might look kind of neat if it was out in the water some :) Vote hugz~jen :)

2 pictures in 2 days!!! Wonders will never cease! This is amazing. That brush is really fantastic. Just add's a little something to an already great picture. Blindingly good work.

This is wonderful. I love what you've done with the water! My only crit - I'd have spent more time on the pier/dock thingy...maybe added some rope or other nautical stuff...Vote!

your work is just plain spectacular.this is beautifully composed as the eye travels from the shore along that pier to the dazzling water you did such an amazing job with.

Awesome work - I do like the lack of antialiasing in the water, that and the sparkles make it look very convincing. I also love the rocks. excellent job!

I dig the effect on the water. That is definatly foriegn looking to bryce work. POV is nice too, as is the lay out. Now my Crit (tough to say this to a person I think is one of the best artists on this site, but you asked.. lol), the mats on the pier are off.The seem a bit dark, and the bump seems a bit to high. JMO. Fine work.

Nice one, Alvin, water is far different then usually seen in B5 renders, modeling (tidious, as I can only imagine) and POV are excellent, Bryce on, lol !

those sparkles really add to the realism, but i think they could be i bit brighter cos you know how when you see that in real life its almost blinding - maybe you could use the higlight tool in the center in some of those? that would be just perfect. but i mean its pretty damn good anyway, so.
