Description
Meniscus: 1. a crescent or crescent-shaped body. 2. a lens with a crescent-shaped section. 3. Physics. the convex or concave upper surface of a column of liquid.
Recently I've been spending much time contemplating the physics of the Meniscus, even though I know nothing about physics. As I just said, I don't know much about the physics of the thing, but I assume it matters quite a bit here and everywhere. This is what a Meniscus may look like if you drink too much herbal tea.
(digital photo of a cement arch on a building at St. Martins College here in Olympia, WA and postwork w/PSP8.)
As always, thanks for looking, and -Peace :-)
