Amazing synergy between the image and the poem (old TS again). Very strongly evocative: I see the now unseeing eye of Phlebas looking up from the seabeds as the currents wash the wreckage of his ship and his life and pick his bones; perhaps even the whirlpool. Outstanding impressionism! VOTE Rik

This looks like a painting. I see a ship in full sail being engulfed with the waves. Incredible vibrant colors.
