Description

This terrain was generated in Bryce 5 and the rest was done in Terragen 0,9 for Mac with no plug-ins used. I am still trying to do decent vegetation in Terragen and do not know if I am succeeding or not ! Let me know your opinion ! Postwork consisted of some sharpening and color/contrast corrections. Top notch!!! The surfaces are nicely mixed with smooth and bumpy, the colors are correct and the the dirt/veg. ratio is right on. Well done. Something I notice in my own work is that some surfaces, which look good on horizontal terrain becomes "stretched" on more vertical terrain. Cautionary tale, only, not here in this lovely image.

Now, these are very realistic and natural vegetation layers - both from the standpoint of color and 3D effect. The atmosphere and lighting enhance this beautiful view including the water which is excellent with its patches of surface roughness. Excellent work Paul.
