Description

Glocknertour 3 Blauspitze Bluepeak This is the Blauspitze near the village Kals in Tyrol. Its color depends on the viewing angle and daytime, most of the time it looks rather ocher, but I choosed the most bluish shot I could get. On the top near the cross I saw one really bluish rock, but most around are gray and greenish. If you are curious to see the Glockner on this Glocknertour, you must be disappointed as I was, when I saw the Glockner during the first days as on this picture: Glockner in the background on left side fully hidden in clouds :-) If you missed the begin of my series about Glockner (mountain) click link on next line, and follow the green links.

Impressive. Looks as though you have to traverse a fairly sharp ridge to get to the peak; don't look down.

Einsame Spitze! Die Aufnahme ist wieder absolut sauber! Impressive scenery! Maybe the Glockner was ashamed because he was wearing his sleeping suit LOL The Watzmann I only could see without clouds one time. It was the day when I drove home!

Stunning view on the Blauspitze! Gaining height, more impressive views, well, that sounds promising! Pity the Grossglockner is hiding in the clouds, a radar shot would reveal its top! :) Excellent work, Gerhard!
