Description

So my mom calls me on my cell and tells me she has found a snake trying to come to the back yard. So I go out and find this guy their. So I proced to take some photos of him before we take him and put him back in the woods. He didnt like the idea, but he wasnt to upset really, just more uspet that someone was touching him. Well he is a cross between a Green Rat Snake, and a Black Rat Snake. Where I live just happens to be where both their ranges cross, so some cross breeding happens, and this is what you get. A Green/Black Rat Snake(Elaphe o. obsoleta X Elaphe o. quadrivittata). Hope you enjoy.

Excellent shot, but you can't get me around any snakes, I freak out. I jumped a few feet up when I nearly crossed paths with a rattler one time. Thank God he didn't strike me, but it was close.
