Nice "outer space" idea, but try more layers. The green fog-colour is too intensive.

Go over to NASA and get some MOLA terrains. Use 3DEM to convert them and then use your layering effects. Mars makes interesting terrains.

excellent concept you have here, argee with gdk5, work on the terrain and this could be really awsome :)

the strange terrain is probably due to noise in the original raw file. i used a "plastic film" filter over difference clouds in photoshop. i am still working on smoothing it out without equalising. this leads to terracing rather than a smooth rollinr hills effect that i was trying to achieve
