I was in a room at the Michigan Union in 1962 with Zora Arkus Duntov when he revealed a slide much like this. He was very proud that the Stingray would finally have it's own frame with balljoints instead of the kingpins of the obsolete 1954 Chevy frame. I didn't shake his hand nor talk to him after. It was a very small gathering. Only recently have I found that the Werner brothers were Russian emigres to France. Marc Chagall may have influenced Duntov's mother more than we think.

Excellent! And, yes, I am very prejudiced. Years ago, when I was a young man, I had a black '63 Stingray....biggest (well, one of the biggest) mistakes of my life was letting it go! Like so many others, I wish I still had it! I love the "drafted" look and you captured the essence of the classic design elements. Just LOVE it!!!!
