my hand in bryce art and some photography
and not a proffesional at all just having fun
My Canadian hubby passed in 1990
I remarried in 1992 to my present hubby:
we have no children together .

UGH!! please look at shadow effect only I do not know what the heck I did to that water???LOL guess I lost it with smudge brush ..and yes that branch was huge like that..(sad)

Perhaps it's a Microsoft foundation class and not understood as a Java class. Austerity does not always bring out the best in us nor primitive capture emotion.

I like it a lot Evie! I think its pretty cool! the water looks great and love that ripple splash there.

As an abstract, this works pretty good. May want to restore your frame and the sharp square edge at waters right side (shore?) needs blurring or slanting or something. Also, if the background is laid down and looks 3D, you may want to distort the shadow (bend-it) so it aligns with the ground. Another cue, cast a shadow on the leaf, of say... the bird, but only darken the leaf where the shadow falls. Leave the gaps between the leaves clear with background showing through. Keep up the practice, and honestly, I couldn't do any better myself, restricted to a paint brush. Hugs, Dave :^)
