Description

STRICTLY a test to see if I could import these 3ds castle models in Poser 4 (the creator of the package said they couldn't be). It worked like a charm, just had to import the 3ds file, then apply the textures manually through the render, materials menu. It's an AMAZING set of models--can't wait to put it in some "real" renders! :) THANKS to Kaol! (background painted skies by Vali with addition of more clouds via photoshop--man, I love those skies)

Great atmosphere and mood! Creepy forests.. If I may add, the tower looks too much like its "plunked" down on the ground. And it'd be more realistic if the lightning struck the tower's top most rod instead of the tower itself...

LOL--you're probably right on all counts!! :) This was just a test render to see if I could use the castle in P4, so instead of posting the render here on a black background, I took 5 minutes to create a basic painted background in photoshop--it's got a lot of problems, for sure, but just a demo! Thanks for the compliment on the mood! :)

Outstanding! I had debated on purchasing the castle pack, but now that I see how nicely it works, might have to add that to my wish list for my next purchase.

Okay...so if this isn't a "real render", i give up, LOL. This "test" of yours is 100 times better than anything I can do. Amazing. Totally amazing. I like the way your "basic" background interacts with the tower. it has an artsy appeal to it.

Beautiful work! I've got that castle kit too, took some time to resize them in Max and then set them up in Poser, but it's well worth it. Renders like a dream. As you show here! The background is cool, and the lighting loks very good. And now I'd love to see you use them in a "real" render. Excellent!
