Description

Xenodream, 1 buZZprolayer, PS6 for frame MORTAL : And therefore, O God, I pray thee, if thou hast one ounce of mercy for this thy suffering creature, absolve me of having to have free will ! GOD : You reject the greatest gift I have given thee ? MORTAL : How can you call that which was forced on me a gift? I have free will, but not of my own choice. I have never freely chosen to have free will. I have to have free will, whether I like it or not !! Opening statements from "Is God a Taoist?" by Raymond M. Beautifully sharp, edgy and pointy composition in keeping with the nature of the problem posed in the quote. I see you've got life moving in elipses (rather than circles; I think elipses are a better symbol myself) at ever widening intervals passing over the same or similar obstacles. I guess the choice (free will?) is in which eliptical orbit we elect to move (or in which it is elected for us to move = no choice at all). Such is the mortal quandry: can we ever really choose and can we ever know if we have chosen? No solid grounding on which to stand and no clear starting point. Love the philosophical evocativeness of you imagery! VOTE Rik

The convergence of all those fascinating shapes has been exceedingly well done , Dirk ! I like the chocolate-green spiked shapes and the geometric polyhedral shapes . The concentric oval layers for your background is lovely and is obviously as important as the foreground objects. superb composition V
