I haven't seen anything quite like this before. The level of detail on the skin that you captured is incredible. I think a lot of the impact of the image also comes from the complete blackness of the eye.

Yeah, slightly underexposing is a great way of showing skin texture. Another thing that works is to rub baby oil on the skin and take photos while it's still wet, cos it makes all the little cracks and creases so visible..made me look like I had the hands of a 90 yer old...uhm I just discovered that today. Anyway - this is good.
