This is amazing! That solar glare from the sun is just sweet! And the model of the starship is cool to. Maybe you should make a series with that ship in it.

The backround and engine effects are class A stuff, the starship model could definently use some help. It's level of detail doesn't quite match that of the rest of the picture so it kinda stands out in a bad way. Try throwing on some specular/bump maps, or cordinated textures.
