Description

Part of an ongoing series exploring digital technology and decorative art. Digitally simulated intarsia and lacquerwork. Panel motifs made from scans of sheet mother of pearl, digitally synthesized maki-e and nishiji (pearskin) lacquerwork and custom metallic Photoshop layer styles. Large format archival digital prints mounted and laminated to Masonite.
