Description

No people here; just a garage full of ships waiting to be launched, repaired ... or retired.

This was an experiment in creating a sense of depth and scale, along with a desire to test how much geometry and memory my machine could handle. The floor is a 16x16 square tileable prop, created because I've gotten tired of having great metal textures that can't be used because they are too small :-D

Nice, I love seeing through the grate in the floor although that sort of thing used to freak me out in real life. The rear edge on the left ship needs mapping though, at the moment that edge just throws out the illusion that this could be a real image, try a box UVmap instead of a plane.

I like the fact that there is a lower level to be seen through the grating. Excellent scene just waiting for some sci fi babes and critters!

Good catch, biotech! All the other tex I'd used were solid across the trailing edge; at least it will be fixed before it goes on sale :-D
