Description

As the title says - the view over the border to the Czech's pilgrimage church Maria Loreto. Nearly unbelievable but true - only some years ago a deadly frontier divided this peaceful landscape. Maria Loreto was a ruin because it lays in the restricted area very close to the border. Credits: Trees: Xfrog, McDetti plants: RDNA Cloud alphas: deadhead

Very very peaceful. Even when the reason was mayby not the nicest of the world - the iron curtain. But you did an excellent image here, a perfect combination of 3D and alphas. Superb!

Thanks a lot for all your comments and ratings. When I came here about 12 years ago, I was fascinated by a landscape so virgin, untouched by the "gifts" of our modern civilization. This was probably the only good thing, the "Iron curtain" caused. Hope you have enough patience to accompagny me through some further views of the "Land of thousand ponds", the region "Stiftland" is called too...
