Description

I've been trying a little to obtain some realism on this one. I hope I did succeed... Please let me know what you think of it, and why :) Thanx for stopping by! Martin

Looks very good, when I first looked at it I actually thought it was a photograph. But maybe you should try a higher resolution on the background it a bit unsharp compared to the foreground.

the compostion is xlt, the clouds specially; about realism: I think, that snow does not disappear so smooth

Excellent render, but the snow surface looks a tad too flat. The rock layers are supurb though. Keep it up.

Just super. I like the snow surfaces. The f/g is a bit similar, but I like the effect very much.

Sky, lighting and distribution of surface layers look pretty realistic IMO - the only thing which is not totally realistic are the few to regular triangles on the terrain but that's not your fault (WM terrain or DEM?) - you might try the Smooth filter of Terraformer2 to get rid of them (radius 1 or 2). But altogether it looks very realistic and very beautiful - really excellent work!

Definitely realistic. Like your blending of colors and features just below th rock features of the mountain. Sunlight angle is perfect.
