Description

This is a Bryce 5 render using the Depth of Field set to keep the poser girl sharp. It took 3 hours to render (not too bad) No post work done at all. Please leave comments and let me know what you think. Thanks, KAP

I think it looks great, and it looks like that's enough reason to get version 5. Very nice scene :) The only thing is, I get a feeling I'm looking at a miniature, you know, a small set. I'm not sure that the background would really be as out of focus as the foreground... just MHO, tho. I do love the way you've set it up though, and a wonderful pose. The colors work very well together too.

I agree with voodoo, and in the same sense that I don't mean it as a criticism of you and your work. I've noticed that a lot of the DOF renders from B5 --including my own-- end up looking like pictures from those old viewmasters. I think this will improve as we all get used to this fantastic new feature, and you're already doing great work.
