Description

Now we are at the end of the glacier and from now it goes up on the rock rather steep. Leaning on the rock you see a wooden thing. This is a bridge which was used last year, because it was very warm and so much snow and ice was molten, that there was a large gap between ice and rock, so that it was impossible to jump over to the rock. We did not need the bridge on Aug. 16. 2004. More far to the right you see a crack in the ice. To give you a better impression I stiched to pictures together, threfore the wite space on upper right because they did not fit better.

It is a remake of Cliffhanger, Gerhard, i'm sure you saw this movie with Sylverster Stallone. Slippery crossings, landslide, deep views that give gooseflesh. It's gorgeous this landscape, my friend, thanx for sharin' it....i'm with you by thought....

Impressive world, higher and higher, through snow and over crevasses the rocky world becomes more and more grim but most interesting!

really like the extreme cropping of this, a bit of cloning would fix the white space, great feel in being there! :]
