I've been practicing 3D Graphics for the past 9 years.
I started by using 3D Studio Max to produce work for my university projects.
After graduation I created an introductory animation for a local TV program 'Ghawdex Llum' using 3D Studio Max. Unfortunately Malta (being a small island) does not yet offer many opportunities in this field, so I decided to study Maya hoping that this will give me more opportunities for working overseas.
I am currently working with an architectural firm but my ambition is to work in the film or advertising industry. Im working slowly to get there:)

I agree with that. I think the lighting's great! But to take away that CG look (if you want to), try making everything a little more dirty (grubby not sexual!). Try painting the textures in photoshop because EVERYTHING in the world is slightly dirty or imperfect that's what makes it real. I would also highly recommend some slight bump maps as they can totally transform an image. But it is very well done. Modeling's brilliant. The best tuxturing site i've seen is this one: http://leigh.cgcommunity.com/index.htm Take a look. Sorry didn't mean to write so much!!
