Apophysis for 14.75 hours postprocessed in The GIMP. Unfortunately artistry is not proportional to render time, but I kinda liked the result anyway....

I like it too, Leo! There's something about that bit of design on the flat top of the inner spiral that seems so intriguing. As though we won't know "what's coming" until we can decipher that part of it! Excellent work!!
