wow iamkate, i dont know how ive missed your work, excellent layout, perfect pose for the composition, the water is a perfect vehicle to give depth in this instance, the small rocks/land serve to add to this effect even more. ... on a purely artistic level..this has excellent fore middle and background seperation. your choice and placement ov props gives near perfect goemetric balance. your work shows you have obviuos artistic vision....my advice, speaking from one artist to another, would be,..make a point, to concentrate on natural elements and effects, Once youve completed the most part ov your work, pause for a moment and place your work in your minds eye...then add the elements needed..in this case a slight wind/breeze.Scan everything that would be effected in the real world, ie hair clothes plants even clouds ect. take a mental snapshot ov the best effect, and apply it to your work exaclty as you have seen it. Trust in your Natural Talent and you will find Natural flow.....Excellent Artwork.
