Description

Apophysis 2.00 // 2 flames - 4 layers // postwork in PSP8 I don't know about you, but I think I am geting better at this art thing. This turned out pretty darn good if I do say so myself =) It started out with different flames and evolved into this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!!! There is a sense of the flame being a light-source in a stone cell or cave - a truly excellent composition!

this is excellent work..what I really like is the way you have placed the flame on top of the fantastic edges...I love the expressionistic painting feeling and the colors are great...hope to see more from this series V! ps I this you are a natural at this "art thing"

Yes, I'd say you "get it." The theme is focussed, but has enough elements to maintain interest. The frame isn't glued on, it's integral to the image. And besides, it's beautiful.

It's like a ring of fire or sun shining deep within an oraganic cave. The compsotion, colors and textures are wonderful!!! You certainly are getting good at this! Excellent work!!! :)
