Description

I used to live in Humboldt County Ca. The hikes through the redwoods, along one of the many rivers in the area used to be awe inspiring. I tried to envision that when I made this. It's as if I found quiet spot where the river widens and doesn't appear to be flowing. I poked my head between the trees and this is what I saw. Well, almost. This shot took about 45 minutes to render. If I put as many trees as I would normally see in a place such as this, it would probably take many hours to render. The hills in the background would be completely covered with trees.
