I am a professional muralist and fine artist. I use Poser and Bryce to help visualize imagery and because it's just a ton of fun. This tool has come so far from a little wooden posable doll.BIOLet's see, been painting for over 25 years, and working on the Mac for a decade or two. Who's counting. So yea, I'm over 21. A 3d newbie, with a growing Poser habit. Still under control, but it kinda gets under your skin...
Speaking of skin, I had wondered why there was so much of it on this site. I just used Judy or Don with clothes on when I wanted clothes and I didn't know or care that it looked awful. Igonorance=bliss. Then I started to actually push the program and pose the figures for project reference. It wasn't pretty, as you may know. In a panic, I was directed here by Bill and learned more about what was out there.
Suddeen'y there are new figures, textures, props and clothes. Of course I got Vicky, only to find out that clothes are expensive! And that I need a whole new set of skills to use them. The morphs don't conform. The dynamic clothes don't recognise the shoulder and slip to the floor. Lol. The amount of skin makes a lot more sense now.
So I'm working on my skills, using "skins" for us money challenged and slow types. And looking forward to a time when my needs, my skills and the technology come together.
The work on this site is mind blowing and lets me know what is possible. It amazes me and inspires me to learn. You make it look easy and clearly are having fun. It touchs me sometimes. So, fellow artists, if you come to my page and read this, thanks.
What is even more incrdible is the support I see here. Great tutorials, helpful artists, fantastic galleries. What an amazing bunch of talented people! You have really got a cool place here for artists from all over the world to share and learn.
But you know all that.
I look forward to getting to know some of you and receiving feedback on my gallery images. Maybe a few of my paintings? I'll have to check if non computer generated stuff is kosher.
Happy rendering,
Kevin

For some reason, she reminds me of the girl from swimfan, with her inner darkness visible on the outside. Great image!
