Description

If you think this picture is about religion then you are missing the point... If you think this picture is about politics then bark up another tree... For all the people in all the countries that have suffered because of this incident may you eventually find some peace... I decline to give any personal opinion on the grounds that will influence or obfuscate the perception of the viewer, and therefore defeat my purpose of creating images...

I don't understand it.Then again, that's surrealism for you, as you weren't meant to understand it...I think.

Fantastic artwork and point of vue my friend!!!If God really exists...Sure it's in another world...Men think there are Gods and the only way they have is war and hate...It's really sad for a "God"...

Art for the 'thinking man'... the 'man with a conscience' always beautiful and destructive at the same time... always thought-provoking... always a delight for the eyes... in the face of evil... :0)

One of the most interesting images I've seen yet. A concept well executed and a little touch of ambiguity. A truly powerful and evocative combination with the text. Well done.

If its not about religion or politics, what is it about?

I'd say most things are political. "The often internally conflicting interrelationships among people in a society." Local, national or global, it doesn't matter. As for religion, although crucifixion isn't overtly religious, the common conception is of course that of Christ, so you have to admit it is political and religious. Like jeds, I'd like to know what your thoughts were when making it. In anycase, as we approach 9/11 again, we will get a lot of these pictures posted in the galleries. Hopefully they will all be of an artisic quality equalling this piece.
