hope this name is right, cuz I don't know the english name. Needed around a week to finish this picture - despite this is only my second try with oil-crayons, I started to hate this medium to draw.

Nice work! I've always called them birds of paradise too. I used to have a bunch of them planted in the front yard

well in german the trivial name for this flower is "Paradiesvogelblume" which translates as Paradisebird-Flower... so you get 100% for answering right ;-D
