Description

This is not a collage! The object to the right is a part of the St. Stephans Cathedral of Vienna, the background a very large advertising panel at a building right to the "Haas House". Fujifilm FinePix S7000. F 3.1, 1/200s, ISO 200, FL 130mm. UV filtered. Best regards from Austria, Ikarius.

Interesting contrast. You could do so many things with this. One idea is to remove the existing lettering and replace it with something like "Diving for cover" or "Sanctuary". Anyway, super capture.

A leap of faith! What a shot sir...why not start a series on this idea? I've been looking at this kind of composition from time to time. (old & new), great to see you do a similar thing in such a great way. BTW I love Vienna in my opinion a city with great heritage and promise... old & new.

Nice image. Not such a good reflection on the sense of esthetics of the advertisers. May they experience beauty in the same way they enable beauty.

" pour atteindre l'inaccessible oile"_ Jacques Brel, chanteur. Sometimes some photos makes me think to some words of songs

An interesting juxtaposition, although the advertisement does kind of ruin the view of this spectacular church.... Great photography!
