This Is My first try at using terragen, any comments would be great, on what I need help with. I can't figure out how to get the sunrays through the clouds. Please comment

There are numerous tutorials on rays. Start with Terrasource.net This is a great start in Terragen. Render at largest possible image size for increased resolution of image. Also, with surfaces, reduce bump and limit vegegation to flatter terrain to increase realness of image. Also check out Terragen forum for tips here at ReR. Finally, look at gallery for ideas and try to recreate the effects with you own images to learn how the program works. Out of time. Have fun and see you in the gallery.

Couple of points on rays. Turn on "clouds cast shadows" on the sun dialog. Also, make sure you have some mist. Make sure you have clouds, but the sky is not completely overcast. That's where rays start.
