Not that I Know much about banjo's, but the body looks a bit thin! Nice textures though :)

The 7th string is usually a second high E; going higher than that would probably make a string too thin to use - at least according to the Ibanez Gems I've seen. Although I imagine the makers could take the 5 stringed bass approach and add a low B on the other end instead. Body's too thin, you need a switch (such a guitar would need a 7 way) and a couple more dials (though every pickup doesn't need its own volume and tone control knob).

The model looks very good, I really like the wood texture on the top. A standard 7 string guitar has a low B string on top -- B-E-A-D-G-B-E; standard 2 knobs and 5 way switch; The body is a little thin, however Ibanez makes a "S-series" guitar that is thin like this one. Otherwise, very good modeling and texturing. Rock on!

I like it. It does remind me of those thin boedied Ibanez's or a Parker fly Les paul hybred. I woudl have more knobs and a bigger switch. But I have built a few guitars for personal use and since I am an electronics guy mine are all swithes and knobs that only I know how to use. Great maple texture on the top.
