Description
Every element of this image was created from a single random APO flame consisting of only two transforms. When it first loaded in Apophysis, I immediately thought it showed Ultra Fractal nuances... right down to some orbit traps! Because there are only two transforms, one needs to be very delicate on the mouse movements when manipulating the triangles... but there are soooo many kewl things to be found in this unscripted flame and I wanted to share it with you guys (cuz you're the best!!). The parameter file can be snagged from my site here.
The first thing I did was to activate transform #1 in the editor window (the yellow triangle) and change the Polar variation from 0.05 to 0. Then I clicked on the Color tab for that same triangle and moved the slider all the way to the right. This makes for a silvery-blue flame. Then, if you grab the yellow triangle and begin to move it s l o w l y south, you'll find all kinds of wild faces with eyeballs... both hollow and with pupils. Halloween is just around the corner... and there are some really wild masks to be found in this flame. You'll also discover flowers, spirals and complicated flames like the background for this image. The flame that sits behind and below the cat is one iteration with no postwork at all. I started with that one and then went back in to find all the bits to create the cat. The most difficult part was uncovering the fairly plain circle for his eyes... but eventually I found it. ;) I used etomchek's "carpenter" gradient on all six iterations to produce this image.
I hope some of you will find the download of use... and, as always, I am forever in your debt for your gracious comments and votes on my previous endeavors. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!! :) ~Helen~

V OK, now Helen, what I want to know is this: what have you eaten or otherwise taken on the evening of august 20th ;-) Since then you produce one masterwork after the other, I want a piece of that... LOL! Seriously, this is absolutely superb work, I LOVE it!!! And thanks for your tutorial, I might give it a try one day, that is, if i can leave XD for an hour or two :-) Congratulations, Helen!!!!
