Description

I had to do this, there was no other option. Those of you who know me will be aware of my Magpie like tendancies towards anything made of glass. Those of you who don't know me will have just found that out. I've had these bottles for years and years and years and they are my favourite bottles because they're all wobbly and wibbly and LOOK AT THE PRETTY COLOURS! Can you see them? Aren't they pretty? I've made a conscious decision to get my behind in gear, finish off everything that's been lurking on my PC for the last year and get myself a DA Print account. Also to branch out and try different styles and subjects that aren't just people. Hot damn! So, I finished this and I have no idea how long it took me because I didn't pay any attention to time whatsoever. Nyah. Wacom, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, hundreds of bloody layers and about half an hour staring at the picture because it was so pretty. Thank you very much for looking :-)

What a wonderfully delightful work this is! I love those pretty colors! Light shining through colored glass is simply magical, and you caught it so well. ~"...and about half an hour staring at the picture because it was so pretty."~ Only 30 minutes? When I get off a good one, the staring stage can really eat up the time, so I sure know what you mean. :D

WOW! Blown away. I truly can't believe anyone is talented enough to do this "on a computer" - you are very skilled with the tablet. The "geek" (and physics guy) in me loves things in the true rainbow order (OK, you moved red to ther other end ;-) like the resistor color code. I was particularly attracted to this image because in my house I had a shelf in a cathedral ceiling where the sun would shine in, and so when I emptied ink bottles into my deskjet I would fill them with various colored water to watch the sun shine thru, so thanks for a simply superb image and a fond memory.

"OOPS" - the above "dadamson" comment was by me, she happened to include her "session ID" in the link so it put me in as 'd' not as 'me'. So the above are from Ward Christensen. Again, most excellent picture.

Wow! Thanks for all the lovely comments, I'm beaming fit to burst. I'm going to be getting a Print Account pretty soon so when I do I'll post a link up on my website and my homepage here in case anyone is interested. And this isn't a render, it's pure 2D. Probably would have been quicker to make the bottles in Bryce and render them but meh! I wanted to paint them.
