Description
I know I haven't posted on here in a while, but Renderosity is just so picky about file sizes and thumbnails! I've been over at www.necrochildk.deviantart.com , but I decided to post a couple things here again for the first time in forever. This one was put together in Poser4 and rendered in Bryce.

^_^ Thanks. Heh, it was my first time using Bryce 5 too so there was a lot to figure out about importing and resetting askew texture maps. The hair I had to paint by hand in Photoshop.

Strange and different, which is always good. Interesting concept and I love the way the jewel looks.

Great work! kinda has a gothic elf look about it.
jadedjane

I really love the limited color scheme here.. beautiful render!

Interesting image, it has a certain gothic look without falling in the overabused "look at me i'm a tortured soul and my mascara is dripping and now i'll go to kill myself brb" black and white :)

Well, I think I'm jealous since I can't paint hair and you can. Seriously though, this is a great image. Thanks for sharing :)

Unusual yet intriguing image. Nice flow to the hair painting.

^_^ Thanks very much. And while I can paint hair using normal Photoshop brushes: http://www.deviantart.com/view/9422146/ This one was done using DTigerWoman's Hair Galore brushes found in the Renderosity marketplace here http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=30462

The red/gray colour scheme works well, as does having the face seemingly (to my eyes) sharper than the rest of the image - draws attention to it.

A very nice image indeed. Very good use of colors (or the lack there of). I do have lil' suggestion if you don't mind. You are trying to give this image a soft look, yet I find the shadow under the chin a bit "harsh". Maybe you can set shadows a bit "softer" by lowering the shadow values in Bryce. JV :o)

^_^ THanks, I didn't realize you could do that. I'm still learning lots on how to use it.
