I'd agree about the surfacing (defractalize the sand layer) if you had been at this for a year or so. My God, I wish I had done this well when I did my first! Looks like you have some basics down, all right!

wow I agree with Rich2 - my first pictures are ATROCIOUS!! This is lovely, just need to work on that sand/veg junction and it'll be perfect. Very nice stuff - can't wait for the next.
