Description

Two hurricanes over with, one more coming, over a week without internet connection, two days in the stiffling heat with no power and 100 MPH winds, cold raviolis, having to drive 30 miles for a pack of cigarettes and a cold soda, no red lights and people who do not understand 4-way stops, 2 small children climbing the walls because they wanna go play outside, suffice it to say I'm DONE with hurricanes. Ivan can kiss my other cheek. 'Nuff said.

Awww beautiful image and sorry for your troubles. Hopefully it swerves ALL of Florida. Otherwise, I am praying my friends in Tampa luck out again.

Beautiful image! My thoughts are with all of you in Florida, I have a brother, my parents and my best friend down there. My brother and friend both lost parts of their roof and I haven't heard from my Mother the last couple of days, but they've avoided the worst of it so far. I hope all goes well for you with Ivan and this season moves on with no more... Hurricanes can't touch that talent! Gorgeous image!

Beautiful image... The lighting is spectacular... And yes these hurricanes SUCK BIG TIME...I live in SW Orange County (Charlie went right over our neighboorhood... I live in tarp-town now...) The daily summer thunderstorms are kinda annoying, but these bi-monthly hurricanes are killing us..Florida is only liveable in the summer with AC, a week without AC is hell... May Ivan go bug someone else... Glad you and your children are safe...Cheers..

The image is beautiful!! But what you are going through there in Florida is bordering on the absurd. One hurricane is enough, two is downright crazy, and if you get the 3rd, holy cow has to go down as the worst year ever for florida. Been through my share of Hurricanes had to leave a couple times, had to share a house as a kid while ours was rebuilt. A night much less a week of no power is enough to drive a person crazy. All I can say is good luck and Ivan can kiss all our butts on the Gulf Coast.

Wonderful composition and lighting! Great character and pose. Very good job on her hair. I don't think hurricane Frances was that beautiful. 8-) Sad to hear about all those hurricanes, though. Hope Ivan doesn't do any harm! Weather is sure running amok!

Those hurricanes have just been horrendous and my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who are suffering horribly with them. One thing they have not diminished though, is your brilliant talent which is so evident in this image. I love that pose and expression and your postwork is awesome. Amazing artwork!

Nathalie, I've been thinking about you this week, and will next week as Ivan makes his appearance. In Tennessee we have ice storms and tornadoes, but it can't be as bad as the hurricanes. Love this. The lighting is just perfect and Frances looks like true nobility in all her barbaric splendor....(your Frances, that is). So glad you got to do some are...must be the silver lining in the dark clouds. Stay safe, okay?
