Description

Title: Fifty-first Kata: Dance of the Blade Artist: M.Reddy Story: With the dawn he rises to honor the Light, his preferred meditation the extremely difficult fifty-first kata. As he reaches full harmony, his chiblade manifests itself in the form of an ancient Tolkan weapon: the sacred katana once wielded by the Empire's First Guardian. This is the mark of a true hero, though he lays no claim to the title. Today something new. Love and laughter in a voice on the wind. The voice of the Light, whispering this promise. "Long and faithfully have you served, yet you will not always walk alone. Even now he seeks you out, the other half of your soul." And he knows. The Time of Choosing is at hand. But this time he will not taste of the bitterness of rejection as he has in all the years gone by. No, when next he leaves the Temple, it will be as Master and Beloved of the beautiful young Knight his dreams have shown him. He can hardly wait to meet his destiny. *********** Starring: Daz's Michael 2 as Master Sidhion K'wyn. Makeup: Rockadon's Rob texture -- whatever would I do without it? (::shudder:: Don't ask!) Costumes: Xena's JF outfit for M2 from PoserPros, PDXJim's Studgear for Michael, available at Reality's Poison, Dee's wrist bands and Blazer's Body Gloves. Hairstyles: Kozaburo Long Style for Michael. Props: Katana by Mechanismo. Choreography: Jedi Master Poses for Mike (in the R'osity freebies; trust me, these *are* the droids you're looking for ;-) Set design: Background is called cumbriawoodland 02888; not sure which royalty-free site I got it from -- probably FreeFotos.com. If I'm wrong, please, feel free to correct me. Production Notes: Rendered in Poser w/P4 engine, assembled and postworked in Corel Photopaint, mainly to add a bit of glow to the sword and an extra touch or two of my own. 10:36 PM 9/11/2004

I think this is pretty good. I like the way you merged poser with real life and added the sun glint off the sword. Nicely done.
