Description

This is a scan of an old paint by numbers I did when I was 10-12 years old. Thats close to 40 years ago....!!! The image was then touched up alot in Paint Shop Pro, adding smoke and flames... Just an experiment I wanted to do after finding this old painting while doing some home renovations.

Wow, I did a bunch of those back in the summer of '66- looks like you did a great job, and it certainly held up well. Was the moon image part of the original?

You'd never lose any money betting this image did or did not take place exactly as portrayed for there are no photographs and hanger flyers position their hands to portray what in the real sky is much farther apart. That someone looked over and saw something gives the third person perspective. The memory is just as vivid 40 years later and the items added were really there.

"Eighty men tried and eighty men died, now their buried together in the countryside......" Looks like you wanted to be an aviation artist.
