Description

There was no flash used here. The spider just turned out really luminescent. This spider is only 4 millimetres in length.

Great to see this guy Matt. Looks like he's doing the sideways shift to gaze down your lense - a special shot. LOL @ Mikan - bite or flight?

Lol - Cynlee! I was thinking about calling this image "Santa Claus" but I had to check myself - I was wondering if anyone would make that somewhat twisted comparison, and it was you!

Many are talking about Christmas, as you live in south hemisphere It can effectively been around it, but I would'nt like to have this one as decoration for my CM tree, lol. As yesterday's one, a great capture... It will be a fun idea for a Chrismas thriller : "Santa Claus's spiders" I'm joking of course as well as I love your nature shots Matt. V

Another awesome macro! Where on earth do you find these spiders? The only ones I get here are the freaky banana spiders, but you get these awesome looking impressive spiders! This guy looks like he might have been deprived of light or maybe is some kind of albino! Excellent work my friend!

Getting a great macro is one thing. But composing an image under that circumstances is something totally different. You've succeeded in a way, most of us can only dream of. Love it!
