Description

I saw a 3d pic like this somewhere...cant remember where...but i liked it...so i made one in my own style so i was not to copy....But said they used a plug in to do the fabric shape.....so eric, if you are out their...can you make a plug in for carrara that if you lay a thin plane ontop of lets say a ball it will conform to the shape of the ball like fabric? and then you can tell it what kind of fabric .....like silk, levi, etc so it kind of gives you real world look on how it may lay over the object...no matter what the object be....I think it whould be a fantastic plug in!! Let me know. kirk saavedra www.shaders3d.com

Poser5 can do what you are looking for then you could transpose the result to Carrara or am I spoiling the arrangement of the balls? The phrase "throw a tarp over it" comes to mind. Waiting for the unveiling of the new 3D. The hints are delightful.

yes... poser5 can do it... but the only way to get it into carrara is with transposer... bah!... you're right, sounds like a job for DCG. Very nice attempt at it yourself... as always, the shaders are wonderful. :)

Why using a plugin? You did a phantastic job without. Your shaders are pretty cool. I love the ball shader at the left especially. Very, very good work!
