Description
A double interior view.
The diagram is actually of USS BONEFISH from a site about that ship. Layout of the compartments is the same for both. So now you can see where a particular image was in relation to the overall boat.
An interesting feature is that this is not just 'another dead boat.' One can arrange sleepovers on it complete with meals. Seems to be popular with the younger set. Also the radio shack is an operating ham site, so there is plenty of realistic static coming from there. Moreover, she still has that smell of hydraulic oil, etc. but mercifully, the diesel exhaust smell is long gone.

Sleepovers?! Not like the real thing though is it? I was on the USS Kamehameha for four years before she was sent to be a slow attack sub. Submarines bring a whole new meaning to the term nut to butt! Hot racking, navy showers, lots of memories! Thanks!

i could handle a sleepover i think, but not for much longer, fraid i'd get claustrophobia :]
