Description

I passed this site everyday I was in New York and for some reason it had quite a profound efeect on me. All post work was done in Photoshop.

Firstly, thank you for your comments. I created this image really by a lot of experimenting around. The buildings were cut out and then various textures and colouring techniques applied, mainly using different lighting modes. For the background buildings I used Ink outlines filter because I wanted a kind of paper cut out effect. The sky was achieved by using the cloud filter and a great deal of airbrushing!!!! By using adjustment layers I was able to enhance and change certain colours. And finally I re-lit the image using the lighting filters. I guess the image really is part painting!!!!!
