Description

This is the first image I have ever felt comfortable about calling "realistic". I had a lot of fun in the Material room with this one; faffing about with reflections and gloss until I got the effects I wanted. Some of the materials are derived from ShadowDaleCreations's Magic Mirror, others were entirely by me. Lights, as usual, by me. P5 Firefly render with no postwork. Thanks for stopping by. Comments always appreciated.

It's the vintage cab, which is 4 inches taller than the current 1960A cab. :)

I wish I could get Poser to do this!! (I'm still on Poser 4). This really looks fantastic-the reflections and textures look incredible-very realistic, indeed!!!! Your renders are always detailed and wonderful!!! Excellent!!

Nice work, and about as real as one can get in Poser. Bet that took a long time to render ;-)

This is a very inspiring picture for any guitarist. A minor problem is the strap button is not raising the guitar above the floor, althought the instrument is obviously sits on it (a very unstable position, BTW). Also, a tremolo bar has no way of crating such a reflection of the gutar's top. I usually assiciate a Marshal with a Les Paul guitar, but I am pretty sure that such a nice Jackson will sound fine with such a great stack anyway :-).

the only thing that betrays the realism on this for me is the lack of dust in the corners and finger prints on the winder... oh, course you could just be a much better housekeeper than I. ;P Love the reflections and the view outside.

Beautiful! I love Marshall amps and have always like Jacksons. Need to get one with a Les Paul in it :)

Real realism indeed. One detail I would look at is where the walls meet: that corner is a bit awkward. Stone textures don't meet like that.
